Next, there has been tons of smaller section updates. Our slightly neglected press archive has been updated with a few articles, interviews and more. It’s all good reading, and I suggest you strongely to take a look! Our video archive has been updated with all the latest videos I could grab, make sure you check out those aswell. This feautures the Sea Shepherd ad, some red carpet interviews and more ( Some are still being updated tough, as they take a few houres / days to upload because of some small issues )

As for the main pages, there are tons of updates. Pretty much ALL the pages at our Multimedia section has had some new additions, and I have added some new pages aswell: Blinkies and avatars. I am trying to learn how to make vectors, so I hope to have that up in the near future aswell! In our Isabel Lucas section, I have made some changes to the through the years page,  added a relationship page, updated our cover page and edited around on many pages like the Trivia and Quotes page.

Our interact section haven’t got too many updates this time, as Im sort of empty of new ideas lol. However, there are a few more games added, including a Home and away storyline game and a “Recognize Isabel” game. There are also a few new puzzles – and this time I have made them downloadable, as the online ones stopped working after a week :p Restyles and funny faces updates are comming up very soon!

As for our Fashion page ( again, a pretty neglected section ), some small updates have been made. I have added almost all of Isabel’s latest outfits to the closet: outfits page, aswell as added some new accessories. This section is one of my first priorities for upcomming updates! Next to the career page, which haven’t got any updates just yet. I will start to clean that one up right now tough, and add Isabel’s latest projects ( A heartbeat away and The Kilimanjaro documentary ).

The galleries have also been updated with tons of Izzy goodies! You can read about the largest ones in posts below this one, but I have also added some new photoshoots aswell as gone through almost ALL the old appearance albums ( Only lacking some 2009 ones aswell as races ) and replaced the tagged versions with untagged ( and some HQ ) ones! I lost a lot of photos doing this, as I managed to delete some photos etc, so stay tuned for many appearance updates in the nearest future

Besides the updates posted in this post, I have made a few more updates which you can read below this one. Make sure you check those out as those are the big ones

Isabel Lucas who portrays a villainous character in the ‘Transformers’ sequel has started filming ‘A Heartbeat Away’ in Brisbane, Australia.
 Isabel Lucas has landed a role in a new musical comedy entitled “A Heartbeat Away”. It has not been known what role which is played by the Australia-born actress in this film debut for Emmy Award winning Australian theater director Gale Edwards, but she will share screen with the likes of Sebastian Gregory, Williams Zappa, Tammy Macintosh and Colin Friels.
“A Heartbeat Away” tells the story of an aspiring rock guitarist who is forced to take over the musical direction of his father’s marching band just weeks before a major competition. “It’s a charming, funny and moving human story with some interesting deeper layers,” Edwards claims about her new project. The shooting for the film has been kicked off on Monday, February 15 in Brisbane for a 2011 release.

Isabel Lucas, who has her first television role when playing Tasha Andrews in “Home and Away”, appears as Alice in box office movie “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”. She then stars in vampire-themed thriller “Daybreakers” and upcoming Chris Hemsworth-starring action drama “Red Dawn”.

An Australian musical-comedy began shooting in and around Brisbane today, starring uber hottie Isabel Lucas (above) in the lead role.

A Heartbeat Away is International Emmy award-winning and acclaimed theatre director Gale Edwards directorial debut and is being produced by Queenslander Chris Fitchett, of Pictures in Paradise.

After being delayed last year due to refinancing, the film has no doubt gained momentum given the success of fellow Australian musical-comedy, Bran Nue Day, at the box office. The film’s budget has been trimmed to just under $7 million, down from $8 million originally, due to the effects of the economic apocalypse etc.

Coming from a background in theatre direction, Edwards is the lady behind international stage hits The Boy From Oz and Jesus Christ Superstar, which won her an International Emmy award in 2001. A Heartbeat Away is her first foray into feature film directing and hopefully she has the cross-over talent off Richard Harris.

“It’s a charming, funny and moving human story with some interesting deeper layers, and the cinematographic possibilities are exciting,” says Edwards.
“The chance to tell this story through the medium of film, with a terrific cast of actors, is an enticing challenge.
“Music is very close to my own heart. This is a genre I love.”

The film is about an aspiring rock guitarist who is forced to take over his father’s brass band four weeks before a major competition. As mentioned, Isabel Lucas is the big name leading the cast with Sebastian Gregory (below) in the major male role. Gregory is a bit of an Aussie rising star and if you pay attention to local films you would recognise him from Acolytes, Accidents Happen and Beautiful. And yes, it does look like he wants to front My Chemical Romance.

A down-to-earth Lucas, who was discovered while strolling through the Port Douglas markets with her family, was more at home this week talking about her recent trekking adventure than her role in Daybreakers which opened in Cairns this week.

The 25-year-old former St Monica’s College student shares the screen with Hollywood heart-throb Ethan Hawke, William Defoe, Sam Neill, Claudia Karvan and Vince Colosimo in the genre-bending vampire movie that was actually filmed before Twilight fuelled a vampire frenzy at the box office.

Lucas, who is ambushed by vampires in the movie, sees it as darker but also, on another level, as strangely relevant.

“We’re running out of fossil fuels, oils and water in much the same way vampires are running out of blood sources in Daybreakers,” the passionate environmentalist said of her latest flick.

She attended Daybreakers premiere just weeks after scaling Africa’s Mt Kilimanjaro on a “Summit on the Summit” mission to raise awareness of the world’s growing water problems and to raise money for a safe drinking water supply for all children.

Forty-five trekkers, including Hollywood actress Jessica Biel, Grammy-nominated artists Kenna and Lupe Fiasco, UN executive Elizabeth Gore and the granddaughters of luminaries Jacques Cousteau and Robert F. Kennedy, made it to the 19,340 foot summit to launch the cause.

“It’s the most physically challenging thing I’ve ever done – I had altitude sickness at the top with headaches and nausia but to stand on the summit and to have done it together for such a good cause was one of the most incredible feelings,” Lucas said.

“Right now a third of the global population is living in water-scarce areas – it’s not just something for the developing countries, it’s one of the most critical issues of our time.”

She attributes teenage years in the Far North and a year living with her family at Kakadu National Park for her strong desire to be an environmental advocate

Lucas, who is best known for television soapie Home and Away and her part in Hollywood blockbuster Transformers, begins a starring role in A Heartbeat Away next week when filming starts in Brisbane.

Movie-goers will see her on the big screen in Daybreakers, romantic comedy Kin, The Waiting City and eighties remake Red Dawn this year, as well as the mini-series Pacific.

“It sounds busy but there have been a lot of breaks in between,” she said.

“It’s been so diverse – from blockbuster to vamp-thriller to family drama-comedy. I’m lucky with the way things have unravelled.”

Working alongside Hawke had been “cool” and with Sam Neill “a real honour”.

“I didn’t have many scenes with (Hawke) but I know him now as a talented writer, very innovative and just cool,” Lucas said

The episodes coveres everything from the very first beginning, when Tasha started to get to know Jonah and Robbie thought she might cheated on him, to the very end where Tasha is safe back with her family again. The last episodes is from where Graham died, and Robbie told Tasha that he was the one who turned the machine keeping him alive off. Theres a lot of Tasha in these episodes, which means tons of captures for you! Isabel looks very good in these episodes, even though Tasha gets completely brainwashed by the cult.
